About Vision Seeds

Vision Seeds was the project of one person: Danny B., a Dutch cannabis enthusiast who’d been deeply embedded in the country’s growing scene since the early 1990s. He founded Vision around 1995, initially selling quality genetics from established breeders while building up his own knowledge of strains, cultivation and genetics.

The real turning point came in 1999, when Herbal Harald – an experienced cultivator with serious breeding chops – joined the team. From that point on, Vision stopped just selling other people’s seeds and started developing their own. What followed was years of crossing, selecting, stabilising and improving, with the goal of producing feminized varieties that could stand up against anything on the market.

It all came together publicly at Cannafest 2010, when Vision officially launched their full range of 100% feminized seeds. The reception was strong, and the brand has kept growing since. Today the Vision catalogue covers feminized photoperiod strains, autoflowering varieties and a small but well-regarded selection of CBD genetics – all built on the same Dutch breeding foundation that’s been in place for three decades.

The Vision photoperiod feminized range is the heart of what Vision does.
