Silver Haze Original by PowerStrains
Silver Haze Original from PowerStrains® needs little introduction. This legendary strain is best understood through experience—and once tried, it’s never forgotten.
Silver Haze Original is a true icon, winning 1st prize at the High Times Cannabis Cup three years in a row (1997, 1998, and 1999). Judges praised its compact, resin-rich buds and its unparalleled, uplifting high. A masterful hybrid of Haze, Skunk, and Northern Lights, this strain delivers classic sativa effects in a more manageable and productive form.
Why Silver Haze Original Stands Out
Multiple award-winning strain
Near-pure sativa genetics with a legendary Haze high
First compact, fast, and productive Haze strain
Known to significantly relieve stress, anxiety, and depression
Growth & Cultivation
Silver Haze Original was the first strain to bring the magical Haze experience into a compact, faster-flowering, and more productive format. After years of refinement, PowerStrains® developed a reliable feminized version with excellent indoor potential.
This strain shows vigorous growth, making it ideal for SCROG (Screen of Green) setups or even boosting the growth of neighboring plants. A unique trait is its ability to grow and flower almost simultaneously—seedlings can begin flowering at heights as low as 10 cm, while plants reaching up to 1 meter early on are not uncommon.
Effects & Experience
The hallmark of Silver Haze Original is its sensual, spiritual, and energizing sativa high. Clear-headed and uplifting, it stimulates creativity and focus without causing drowsiness, making it perfectly suited for daytime use. This timeless effect remains one of the most celebrated qualities of the entire Haze family.
Silver Haze Original is pure cannabis heritage—award-winning genetics, powerful sativa effects, and refined performance that continues to set the standard decades later.
