Dedoverde Haze by Humboldt Seed Organization
Dedoverde Haze by Humboldt Seed Organization is a distinctive Haze hybrid that brings together authentic Californian heritage, vibrant fruit flavours and the unmistakably uplifting character associated with classic sativa genetics.
Created by crossing the legendary California Haze (LA) with Amnesia (NL), this vigorous F1 hybrid preserves the energetic personality of an old-school Haze while introducing greater speed, consistency and modern refinement. The result is an aromatic, resin-rich variety with a fascinating history and a terpene profile that immediately sets it apart.
At SeedMasters.com, we carefully select premium cannabis genetics that combine genuine breeding heritage, memorable flavours and exceptional collector appeal—and Dedoverde Haze is a standout example from the Humboldt Seed Organization collection.
A Genuine California Haze Heritage
The story behind Dedoverde Haze stretches back to Northern California during the late 1990s, when the original California Haze clone was circulating among a close-knit community of cannabis breeders and enthusiasts.
According to Humboldt Seed Organization, the celebrated rapper and cannabis advocate B-Real received the original clone from a friend in Redding, California. The genetics were subsequently preserved for several years by breeder Keif Sweat, allowing their unmistakable Haze character to remain intact before they became an important part of the Dedoverde breeding programme.
By combining this historic California Haze selection with the renowned Amnesia lineage from the Netherlands, Humboldt Seed Organization created a modern hybrid that connects two highly influential cannabis cultures.
California Haze contributes its uplifting West Coast personality, spicy flavour and energetic character, while Amnesia introduces additional vigour, resin production and the intense aromatic qualities for which European Haze genetics are known.
Fruit Punch, Haze Spice and Sweet Pine
Dedoverde Haze produces a bold and complex terpene profile that blends sweet American flavours with the sharper, more traditional notes of a classic Haze.
The aroma opens with a powerful burst of fruit punch, often compared by the breeder to the sweet and nostalgic character of Kool-Aid. This juicy opening is followed by layers of warm Haze spice, herbal complexity and a clean pine freshness.
On the palate, the initial fruit sweetness gradually develops into a more sophisticated combination of spice and wood, before finishing with a lingering touch of sweet pine. The contrast between its playful fruit flavours and old-school Haze background gives Dedoverde Haze a profile that feels both familiar and refreshingly different.
Its principal aromatic characteristics include:
Sweet fruit punch
Tropical and berry-like notes
Traditional Haze spice
Fresh pine
Subtle herbal undertones
This rich combination makes Dedoverde Haze particularly appealing to collectors who appreciate expressive, terpene-focused cannabis genetics.
Energetic Haze Character
Dedoverde Haze remains faithful to its sativa-influenced ancestry, offering the lively and uplifting personality traditionally associated with Californian Haze varieties.
The breeder describes its character as energetic, vibrant and mentally stimulating, with a strong cerebral quality that reflects its classic West Coast background. Its Amnesia influence adds further intensity, creating a powerful overall profile that may be better appreciated by experienced cannabis enthusiasts.
Rather than presenting the heavier character found in many modern indica-dominant hybrids, Dedoverde Haze focuses on brightness, creativity and an unmistakably positive Haze identity.
Its combination of strong potency and energetic character means it is generally regarded as a variety for seasoned collectors rather than complete newcomers.
Exceptional Resin and Aromatic Expression
Another defining feature of Dedoverde Haze is its impressive resin production. Its flowers become heavily coated in sticky trichomes, helping to intensify both their aroma and visual appeal.
The dense resin coverage highlights the quality of its California Haze and Amnesia ancestry, while the concentration of aromatic compounds gives the finished flowers their powerful fruit, spice and pine fragrance.
Humboldt Seed Organization developed this variety to retain the qualities enthusiasts value in traditional Haze genetics while improving overall practicality and consistency. Its relatively fast-flowering character distinguishes it from many older Haze varieties, which are often associated with particularly long flowering periods.
The result is a modern interpretation of a genuine classic—one that retains the personality and heritage of the original genetics without feeling dated.
