Super Lemon Haze by Green House Seeds: Award-Winning Genetics
Super Lemon Haze by Green House Seeds is a feminized, sativa-dominant hybrid created from Lemon Skunk x Super Silver Haze. For collectors searching specifically for Super Lemon Haze Green House Seeds, this is the original award-winning release from the breeder and one of the best-known strains in its entire catalogue.
Green House Seeds lists the strain as 70% sativa and 30% indica, with THC at around 26.33%.
Super Lemon Haze also has an impressive competition history. It took first place at the High Times Cannabis Cup in both 2008 and 2009, followed by several other awards around the world.
Super Lemon Haze Flavour, Aroma and Character
Lemon is very much the main attraction here.
The strain has an intense lemon-zest and citrus profile, mixed with the woody, pine-like character associated with classic Haze genetics. There can also be a sharper, slightly sour edge running underneath.
Lemon Skunk brings much of the fresh citrus character, while Super Silver Haze adds pine, wood and that unmistakable old-school Haze aroma.
The result is fresh and sharp rather than overly sweet. Even with so many newer lemon-named strains available today, Super Lemon Haze still has a profile that is easy to recognise.
What Makes the Green House Seeds Version Different?
This is where the breeder name really matters.
Super Lemon Haze was originally bred by Green House Seeds, combining its Lemon Skunk with the legendary Super Silver Haze. It went on to become one of the breeder’s biggest successes and has since influenced plenty of newer citrus-focused hybrids.
Green House Seeds also identifies D-limonene, beta-caryophyllene and terpinolene among the main terpenes associated with the strain, which fits its strong citrus, spice and Haze character.
For collectors, this means you are looking at the Green House Seeds original rather than one of the many later strains inspired by the Super Lemon Haze name.
Our Take on Super Lemon Haze by Green House Seeds
At SeedMasters.com, we think Super Lemon Haze is one of those strains that has earned its place in cannabis history.
The Lemon Skunk x Super Silver Haze lineage is already impressive, but the long list of competition wins gives this release even more collector appeal.
We especially like how simple the flavour identity remains: strong lemon zest, citrus, pine and classic Haze notes. It doesn’t need a complicated family tree or a trendy new name to stand out.
For collectors interested in award-winning genetics, classic sativa-dominant strains and important Green House Seeds releases, Super Lemon Haze is one of the obvious names to have on the shortlist.
