Wedding Cheesecake FF by Fast Buds: Genetics and Background
Wedding Cheesecake FF by Fast Buds is a feminized Fast Flowering strain created from (Wedding Cake x Cheese) x Wedding Cheesecake Auto. For collectors searching specifically for Wedding Cheesecake FF Fast Buds, this is a modern version of one of the breeder’s most popular dessert-inspired genetic lines.
The current release is listed as 65% sativa and 35% indica, with THC reaching up to 25%.
Fast Buds actually revisited the genetics for its latest generation rather than simply keeping the older version unchanged. The breeder selected a Wedding Cake x Cheese clone and crossed it with its newer Wedding Cheesecake Auto, keeping the original strain’s identity while refining the line.
Wedding Cheesecake FF Flavour, Aroma and Character
The flavour profile is where the Wedding Cheesecake name really makes sense.
Fast Buds describes a combination of cream, sweet dessert notes, citrus and cheese. The sweeter side brings a rich cheesecake-style character, while citrus adds some brightness and stops the profile from becoming too heavy.
Then there is the Cheese influence.
It introduces a sharper, more savoury edge underneath the sweetness, giving the strain more personality than a straightforward cake or cream hybrid.
We particularly like that contrast. Sweet, creamy genetics are everywhere in the modern seed market, but the Cheese background gives this one an old-school twist.
What Makes the Fast Buds Version Different?
Wedding Cheesecake FF sits within Fast Buds’ Fast Flowering range, bridging the gap between the breeder’s photoperiod and autoflowering genetics.
More importantly, the current version represents a genuine update to the original strain.
Fast Buds says it originally considered retiring Wedding Cheesecake FF, but strong demand encouraged the breeder to rebuild it instead. The updated genetics retain the familiar creamy dessert profile while using its latest Wedding Cheesecake Auto selection.
That gives the 2026 release a clear connection to both the original strain and Fast Buds’ newer breeding work.
Our Take on Wedding Cheesecake FF by Fast Buds
At SeedMasters.com, we think Wedding Cheesecake FF is one of the more distinctive strains in the Fast Buds Fast Flowering collection.
The Wedding Cake, Cheese and Wedding Cheesecake Auto background gives it more depth than the name initially suggests. Creamy sweetness and citrus provide the modern dessert side, while Cheese brings something sharper and more traditional underneath.
We also like that Fast Buds chose to improve the line rather than simply discontinue it.
For collectors interested in Fast Buds genetics, dessert strains and modern hybrids with a touch of classic Cheese character, Wedding Cheesecake FF is certainly one worth considering.
