Lemonpaya by Fast Buds: Genetics and Background
Lemonpaya by Fast Buds is a feminized hybrid created from the breeder’s own Lemonade keeper x Papaya from Oni Selection. For collectors searching specifically for Lemonpaya Fast Buds, this release brings together bright citrus genetics and a much sweeter tropical fruit influence.
Fast Buds lists THC at around 25–30%, putting Lemonpaya among the stronger photoperiod varieties in its modern feminized collection.
The parentage is also refreshingly straightforward. Fast Buds has used its Lemonade keeper in a number of breeding projects, while Papaya contributes the deeper tropical sweetness that gives this strain its distinctive identity.
Flavour, Aroma and Character
As the name suggests, the profile centres around lemon and papaya.
The Lemonade side brings a fresh citrus character with a slightly sharper edge, while Papaya softens things with sweeter tropical fruit. Fast Buds describes the combination as smooth, sweet and strongly fruit-led.
What we like about Lemonpaya is that the profile doesn’t sound unnecessarily complicated. Lemon gives it brightness, while ripe papaya adds a richer and more exotic sweetness underneath.
There is a clear tropical feel to the strain without simply becoming another generic fruit hybrid.
That makes it particularly interesting alongside the Cookies, Gelato, Runtz and gas-heavy genetics that dominate so much of the modern market.
What Makes the Fast Buds Version Different?
The parent selection gives Lemonpaya a clear Fast Buds identity.
Rather than relying entirely on fashionable strain names, the breeder has paired one of its own keeper Lemonade selections with Papaya from Oni Selection.
That gives the strain a documented genetic background and makes it easier for collectors to understand where the main flavour characteristics come from.
Fast Buds also describes Lemonpaya simply as a hybrid rather than forcing it into a heavily indica- or sativa-dominant category.
Our Take
At SeedMasters.com, we think Lemonpaya is one of the more appealing fruit-focused releases in the Fast Buds feminized range.
The Lemonade x Papaya pairing is easy to understand, and the contrast between zesty citrus and sweet tropical fruit gives it a strong identity without needing an overly complicated terpene description.
We also like seeing Fast Buds use its own keeper genetics alongside a recognised Papaya selection. It gives Lemonpaya more breeding character than a strain built purely around a familiar name.
For collectors interested in Fast Buds genetics, tropical strains and modern citrus-heavy hybrids, Lemonpaya is certainly one worth considering.
