Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto by Barney’s Farm: Genetics and Background
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto by Barney’s Farm is a feminized autoflowering hybrid created from Lemon Cherry Cookies x BF Super Auto #1. For collectors searching specifically for Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto Barneys Farm genetics, this release brings a modern fruit-led American strain into Barney’s Farm’s autoflowering collection.
The breeder lists it as 70% indica and 30% sativa, with THC reaching up to 28%. That puts it among the stronger autoflowering strains currently offered by Barney’s Farm.
What immediately stands out to us, though, is the flavour profile rather than just the potency figure.
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto Flavour, Aroma and Character
As the name suggests, lemon and cherry are right at the centre.
Barney’s Farm describes the aroma as a mix of lemon citrus, ripe cherry, earth and floral notes, with a noticeable pungent edge. The flavour adds berry sweetness and a slightly woody background, giving the strain more depth than a simple fruit profile.
The lemon brings a sharp, fresh character, while the cherry and berry notes make things sweeter. Earthy and woody tones sit underneath and stop the overall profile from becoming too candy-like.
It is a combination that feels modern without losing the heavier character you would expect from an indica-dominant hybrid.
What Makes the Barney’s Farm Version Different?
The key part of this release is BF Super Auto #1, Barney’s Farm’s autoflowering parent.
Rather than simply putting the Lemon Cherry Cookies name onto an unrelated auto, the breeder has crossed the original genetic line with its own Super Auto selection. This gives the strain a much clearer Barney’s Farm identity.
The breeder also describes the flowers as showing rich green and purple shades alongside orange pistils and a heavy resin coating.
With so many Lemon Cherry and Cookies-style strains now available, having a clearly stated lineage makes this version easier to separate from similarly named releases.
Our Take on Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto by Barney’s Farm
At SeedMasters.com, we think Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is one of the more interesting recent autoflowering releases from Barney’s Farm.
The Lemon Cherry Cookies x BF Super Auto #1 genetics give it a straightforward family tree, while the combination of sharp lemon, cherry, berry and earthy notes gives the strain a strong identity of its own.
We particularly like the contrast between the bright citrus and sweeter cherry character. It sounds simple on paper, but there is enough earthiness and pungency underneath to make the profile more interesting.
For collectors interested in modern American genetics and newer Barney’s Farm autoflowering releases, Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is certainly one worth considering.
