Think Tank Auto by Anesia Seeds
Think Tank Auto cannabis seeds by Anesia Seeds take one of the breeder’s more cerebral recent hybrids and rebuild it as a high-potency autoflower.
Released as part of Anesia Seeds’ 2026 collection, Think Tank Auto is bred from Think Tank × Auto Future and is listed as approximately 65% Indica. Despite that Indica-leaning genetic balance, Anesia describes the initial character as distinctly cerebral, euphoric and creative before a deeper physical relaxation begins to take over.
What caught our attention at SeedMasters.com is that this isn’t simply a shortened automatic version of Think Tank.
The terpene profile has moved in a noticeably different direction, the structure is surprisingly substantial for an autoflower, and Anesia is making some very ambitious potency claims for it. That gives Think Tank Auto enough of its own identity to be interesting even if you are already familiar with the original photoperiod strain.
Think Tank Meets Anesia’s Autoflower Genetics
The photoperiod Think Tank comes from Tea Time × High Mars and is a balanced 50/50 hybrid that Anesia developed around an energetic, mentally stimulating character. The breeder describes its terpene profile around tropical fruit, citrus and sandalwood.
For Think Tank Auto, Anesia crossed that variety with what it currently lists as Auto Future.
That choice makes sense when you look at Anesia’s established Auto Future #1 line. The breeder describes Auto Future #1 as a powerful and resilient autoflower developed through more than two years of selection and stabilisation, with a 9–10 week cycle and strong autoflowering performance.
Interestingly, Think Tank Auto doesn’t simply repeat the flavours of either parent.
Rather than the pineapple, mango and citrus associated with Auto Future #1 or the tropical fruit and sandalwood of Think Tank, the finished Think Tank Auto moves towards sweet cherry, ripe berries, earth and subtle spice.
For us, that makes the cross more interesting. It feels like a genuinely selected new variety rather than an autoflower carrying the same name and flavour description as its photoperiod parent.
Cherry and Berry Rather Than Another Candy Strain
Think Tank Auto has a fairly straightforward terpene description, and we actually prefer it that way.
Anesia puts sweet cherries and ripe berries at the front of the profile, with earthy undertones and a lighter spicy note underneath. The breeder also describes the finish as creamy and rounded.
We’d summarise the profile as:
Sweet cherry
Ripe dark berries
Soft fruity sweetness
Earthy undertones
Gentle spice
A creamy, rounded finish
The earthy and spicy background is important because it stops Think Tank Auto sounding like another generic candy hybrid.
There are already more sweet fruit varieties than anyone could realistically keep track of. Cherry and berry are hardly rare either, but combining them with a darker earthy base gives this strain a little more weight.
It also provides a clear point of difference from the original Think Tank. Anyone expecting the photoperiod version’s pineapple, mango and sandalwood character should be aware that Think Tank Auto has its own terpene direction.
How Strong Is Think Tank Auto?
This is one of the headline features, although it deserves some context.
Anesia Seeds lists Think Tank Auto at up to 33% THC. The important words there are up to. This is the breeder’s stated upper figure, not a guarantee that every individual expression will test at 33%.
We think that distinction matters.
Very high THC numbers have become increasingly common in modern seed descriptions, and it’s easy for an upper test result to be presented as though it represents every seed in a pack. At SeedMasters.com, we’d rather keep the wording accurate: Anesia reports Think Tank Auto as capable of reaching up to 33% THC.
The breeder describes the effect as having two fairly distinct stages.
Initially, Think Tank Auto is presented as euphoric, mentally light and highly cerebral, with creativity and focus becoming particularly noticeable. Anesia even describes a slightly surreal or psychedelic edge to the early experience. Later, the 65% Indica influence becomes more apparent, introducing a considerably deeper physical relaxation while leaving some of that mental clarity intact.
That transition is probably more interesting than the headline THC figure.
Rather than being described as simply sedating because it is Indica dominant, Think Tank Auto appears to retain much of the bright mental character that made the original Think Tank distinctive.
Bigger Than We Expected for an Autoflower
One specification that immediately stood out in our research was the size.
Anesia lists Think Tank Auto at approximately 120–160 cm indoors and 120–170 cm outdoors. That’s substantial for a modern autoflower and makes the “Auto” label slightly misleading if you’re picturing a tiny plant.
The breeder gives the complete cycle as approximately 9–10 weeks from seed.
Reported production is 500–550 g/m² indoors and approximately 150–300 g per plant outdoors, again presented as breeder figures rather than guaranteed results.
Visually, Anesia describes dense, compact flowers coated in a heavy layer of trichomes. Dark green forms the main colour, with some purple expression and bright orange pistils providing contrast.
That combination gives Think Tank Auto a much more substantial appearance than the small, loose flowers historically associated with early generations of autoflowering genetics.
The heavy resin coverage also fits with the variety’s wider breeding direction. Anesia specifically highlights pronounced trichome production as one of Think Tank Auto’s notable characteristics.

Our Take on Think Tank Auto
At SeedMasters.com, the thing we like most about Think Tank Auto isn’t actually the 33% THC figure.
Big numbers attract attention, but there is more going on here than that.
The genetics make sense. Anesia has taken the cerebral personality of Think Tank and combined it with an autoflower line that the breeder had already spent considerable time developing and stabilising. The finished strain retains that brighter mental side even though its overall genetic balance now leans 65% Indica.
We also like that the flavour has changed.
It would have been very easy to describe Think Tank Auto using the same tropical fruit language as the original and leave it at that. Instead, this version has gone towards cherries, berries, earth and spice. For collectors comparing the two, that’s a meaningful difference rather than simply a change in flowering type.
The size is another detail worth noticing. At up to 160–170 cm according to Anesia’s specifications, Think Tank Auto is considerably more substantial than the stereotypical compact autoflower. Combined with dense, heavily frosted flowers and a 9–10 week breeder-listed cycle, it looks much more like the sort of modern high-performance automatic genetics Anesia has been moving towards.
And finally, there’s the potency.
We would treat the 33% THC as an upper breeder claim rather than an expectation, but even with that caveat, Anesia clearly intends Think Tank Auto to sit towards the stronger end of its autoflower collection.
For collectors browsing SeedMasters.com for a newer Anesia Seeds autoflower, Think Tank Auto stands out because it combines an interesting pedigree, a distinctive cherry-and-berry profile, unusually large reported stature and the energetic-to-relaxing character of its Think Tank heritage.
It feels like more than an automatic version of an existing name, and for us that’s the main reason it deserves a closer look.
