Indigo Sapphire Strain Genetics
Indigo Sapphire was created by crossing two superior hybrids with a high content of cannabinoids, rich terpenes profile and excellent growing characteristics.
Imperium X provides strong effects on mind, great resin output and potent genetics, and the Violet Fog strain brings increased flower density, purple colouring of the buds and their sweet fruity terpenes profile.
In this way, the combination of these genetics leads to a stable and powerful hybrid with outstanding qualities.
Appearance
Indigo Sapphire grows into a vigorous medium-sized plant with good branching and high flower output.
During the flowering period, the buds get heavily covered with trichomes resulting in the extremely frosted appearance. Rich emerald-green coloured flowers get violet and purple colour due to its Violet Fog heritage, and bright orange pistils create a good contrast in the dense colas.
Combination of rich colours and resin makes this strain very attractive for growers.
Aroma
Unwrapping a jar of properly cured Indigo Sapphire will bring the wonderful aroma of sweet grapes and mint.
As the aroma unfolds, tropical pineapple and sandalwood scents come with a slight earthy-spicy aroma. This strain is characterized by complex and rich terpene profile that is exotic and elegant at the same time.
Its rich aroma is highly expressive even after the curing process.
Taste
The taste corresponds to the aromas with complex terpenes profile.
Sweet grapes are the main note in the inhalation process, but then refreshingly mint and tropical pineapple notes appear. Finally, sandalwood and earthy spice appear in the exhale process, giving the long-lasting finish.
It makes Indigo Sapphire strain especially attractive for terpene lovers.
Effects
First of all, Indigo Sapphire creates intense cerebral euphoria bringing mood lift, enhanced creativity and mental clarity.
This effect encourages communication and artistic inspirations. With time passing, indica dominance starts creating deep physical relaxation and ease of tension in the body without being overwhelming.
Therefore, it creates balanced and pleasant high that smoothly transforms from the mental energy into deep relaxation.
Being characterized by 33.8% of THC, the Indigo Sapphire is especially suitable for advanced users.
Plant Characteristics
Indigo Sapphire combines fast flowering and vigorous growing with high productivity.
The indoor flowering takes around 60–65 days and produces yields up to 600 grams per square meter. In outdoor conditions, Indigo Sapphire produces yields of 900–1200 grams per plant, with the harvesting ready in early October.
Indoors, the plants grow to 100-140 cm, and in outdoors up to 160-220 cm, and they create vigorous branching able to support heavy and resinous flowers.
This strain grows especially well with techniques like LST, SCROG and topping that allows creating a great canopy development and increasing the yields. Its great trichomes output makes it a great strain for premium concentrates, hash and rosin.
