Hollywood Rain Auto by Anesia Seeds
Autoflower breeders continue to refine their art to close the gap between fast growth cycles and the premium quality of flower produced, with some of the most modern cultivars achieving terpene expression, resin production and potencies that can match those found in many photoperiodic strains. Hollywood Rain Auto is an excellent example of such an accomplishment. Created by Anesia Seeds using the fantastic combination of Hollywood, Hawaiian Rain and Grape Pop Rocks, this modern autoflower brings a mix of exotic tropical terpenes, good trichome production and hybrid effects into a high-yielding and reliable variety.
Even though Hollywood Rain Auto is known for THC levels going up to 31%, the main feature of this autoflower is its exotic terpene profile. Layers of ripened mango, juicy pineapples and citrus notes are combined with hints of wood to provide an amazing fresh and harmonious scent. Great trichome production and good yield contribute to the reputation of this strain among other autoflower cannabis seeds offered by Anesia.
At SeedMasters, we like when the modern autoflowers offer us something unique instead of being the copy-paste of photoperiodics. Hollywood Rain Auto is exactly what we are looking for. Exotic tropical fruits, resinous flowers and the balanced nature of this cultivar make it one of the most interesting modern autoflowers created by Anesia Seeds.
Hollywood Rain Auto Genetics
The genetics of Hollywood Rain Auto consist of three specially selected modern strains, providing each of them with their characteristics.
Hollywood gives much of the uplifting hybrid effects and also the rich tropical fruit base for this cultivar. This strain adds vibrant fruit sweetness and also provides good vigour.
Hawaiian Rain improves these tropical notes and provides a bright aroma and fresh citrus notes. This strain also brings hybrid effects and structural stability during flowering period.
And finally, the third strain in the mixture, Grape Pop Rocks, increases resin production, adds fruity complexity and colourful flowering. This helps to produce the great trichome production, characteristic for this autoflower cannabis strain.
These elite genetics bring together the balanced autoflower with great trichome production, fast flowering and the other features of great premium autoflower cannabis.
Appearance
Hollywood Rain Auto is a medium-sized bush with dense and productive branching and good structure, allowing to get good dense flower production from the canopy of this plant. This strain is relatively small and fits a wide range of growing environments while remaining very productive.
As the flowering process is going, the buds grow into large resin-rich colas, developing more and more visible trichomes, making them very frosty and covering the whole flower. The rich green calyces often develop attractive violet colors due to their inheritance from parent genetics. Bright orange pistils go through the dense flowers, creating beautiful contrast in the appearance of these flowers with their frostiness.
Finished buds are dense, sticky and frosty thanks to the rich trichome production, which has become the trademark of the latest breeding works by Anesia Seeds.
Aroma
The first thing that amazes about the aroma of Hollywood Rain Auto is its exotic tropical bouquet. Bright mango and pineapple aromas come first, followed by bright citrus scents and bringing together a wonderful and uplifting fruit bouquet.
When the flowers are handled, the notes of wood start appearing behind the tropical fruits, adding a little bit of depth and balance to the overall bouquet.
Flavour
The taste follows the same path as the aroma and opens up with juicy tropical fruits, developing pineapple sweetness. The strong mango remains present throughout the inhalation, along with bright citrus that adds complexity to the taste.
In the end, delicate notes of wood appear, adding structure to the sweeter fruits without overwhelming them. The creamy mouthfeel and lingering sweetness give a smooth and unique flavor profile of this strain.
Effects
This strain is usually characterized by the bright and quickly developing cerebral effects that are described as uplifting, clear and creatively stimulating. The initial stage promotes concentration, positive mood and increased energy while staying comfortable.
As the effect lasts, there is a slow development of the relaxing physical component, which goes along with the cerebral effects without destroying them. Many people appreciate this balance, finding that Hollywood Rain Auto combines the productive cerebral high with the comfortable physical relaxation.
Due to its cannabinoid potential, it is better suited to be used by experienced cannabis consumers.
Plant Characteristics
Hollywood Rain Auto has a simple and reliable cultivation cycle that takes approximately 9-10 weeks from the seed.
The indoor plants reach the height of 100-140 cm and produce 450-500 grams per square meter under the favorable growing conditions. The outdoor specimens reach the height of around 150 cm and produce approximately 130-170 grams per plant in warm sunny weather conditions.
This cultivar grows well with low-stress training, which allows growers to increase the light exposure in the canopy and improve flower production. Stable temperature and enough light contribute to the terpene expression, trichome production and the general flower quality.
Its stable growth, rich trichome production and exotic terpene profile make Hollywood Rain Auto another great example of modern autoflower cannabis breeding.
