Uvaz by Wizard Trees: Dulce de Uva Meets Zangria
Uvaz Wizard Trees genetics bring together two distinctive American varieties: Dulce de Uva x Zangria. This feminised hybrid combines rich grape-inspired aromas with the sweeter candy characteristics associated with Wizard Trees’ popular Zangria line.
Dulce de Uva, which translates to Sweet Grape, provides an interesting foundation for this release. Zangria adds another layer of fruity sweetness, creating a combination that feels right at home among the breeder’s modern American genetics.
Wizard Trees has become particularly well known for its candy-inspired hybrids, and Uvaz takes that familiar character in a more grape-focused direction.
For collectors interested in contemporary US genetics, this variety offers an appealing combination of two recognisable parent lines.
Flavour and Aroma: Sweet Grapes and Subtle Spice
One of the standout features of Uvaz is its rich, fruit-inspired aromatic profile.
Wizard Trees describes sweet grape notes, fruity candy aromas and a subtle spicy undertone. These characteristics give the variety a distinctive personality without relying on the heavier gas notes found in some other releases.
The grape character takes centre stage, bringing a rich sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruit. Alongside this, the candy-inspired notes introduce a softer, sugary quality.
A gentle hint of spice adds another dimension, preventing the overall profile from being entirely sweet.
This combination makes Uvaz particularly interesting for collectors who enjoy comparing fruity American genetics and the different aromatic characteristics associated with Zangria-related varieties.
What Makes Uvaz Genetics Special?
Uvaz stands out because of its clear connection to grape-inspired genetics.
While many modern Wizard Trees releases combine candy sweetness with strong fuel-like aromas, this variety places greater emphasis on fruit, particularly the rich grape character associated with its parentage.
Another interesting feature is its relationship with the wider Zangria collection. This parent also appears in several Wizard Trees releases, including Big Z, Ropegria and Gas Gimlet.
However, Uvaz offers a different combination through Dulce de Uva, giving it a recognisable identity of its own.
The breeder offers Uvaz as feminised cannabis seeds, with an Indica/Sativa hybrid classification.
Wizard Trees also lists a nine-week flowering period in its official specifications. No confirmed THC percentage is provided, so we prefer not to include an unverified figure.

At SeedMasters.com, we think Uvaz is a particularly interesting addition to the Wizard Trees collection.
We like the combination of Dulce de Uva and Zangria, especially how the rich grape aromas complement the sweeter candy notes and subtle spice.
It’s also a refreshing alternative to the breeder’s more gas-focused varieties, offering something different for collectors who prefer fruit-inspired genetic profiles.
