Top G by Wizard Trees: Gelato 41 Meets Tea Time
Top G Wizard Trees genetics bring together two well-known American varieties: Gelato 41 x Tea Time. This modern hybrid combines the creamy, dessert-inspired character of Gelato with the sweeter candy notes associated with Wizard Trees’ Tea Time collection.
Gelato 41 is a popular Californian variety with a distinctive aromatic profile, while Tea Time brings together Zkittlez and RS11 genetics.
The combination gives Top G an interesting family background, connecting several recognisable names in modern American cannabis breeding.
For collectors interested in contemporary US genetics, Top G offers a distinctive combination of classic Gelato characteristics and newer candy-inspired influences.
Flavour and Aroma: Creamy Candy and Gas
One of the standout features of Top G is its rich, dessert-inspired aromatic profile.
Wizard Trees describes creamy gas, sweet candy and subtle earthy undertones, creating an interesting balance between its two parent varieties.
Gelato 41 provides the creamy foundation, with a deeper fuel-like character that gives the profile its distinctive richness.
Tea Time introduces a sweeter influence, adding the confectionery-inspired notes associated with modern Zkittlez and RS11 genetics.
Rather than being dominated by sweetness alone, Top G combines creamy dessert aromas with a more pronounced gas character.
This makes it particularly interesting for collectors who appreciate the different aromatic profiles found in modern Californian hybrids.
What Makes These Genetics Special?
Top G stands out because of its connection to two important American genetic lines.
Wizard Trees describes particularly large, rounded flower formations with bright orange hairs, colourful accents and a thick, frosted appearance.
The breeder also highlights variation between different expressions of the variety. Some display stronger Gelato characteristics, while others show more influence from Tea Time and its RS11 heritage.
This gives Top G an interesting identity within the wider Wizard Trees collection.
Another notable feature is its connection to Tea Time, a parent also found in several other Wizard Trees releases, including Knightcap, London Fog and Propa Candy.
Top G is available as feminised photoperiod cannabis seeds and is classified as an Indica/Sativa hybrid.
Wizard Trees reports a THC figure of approximately 25%, although this is a breeder-supplied specification rather than a guaranteed laboratory result.
Our Take
At SeedMasters.com, we think Top G is a particularly appealing addition to the Wizard Trees collection.
We like the combination of Gelato 41’s creamy character with the sweeter candy notes of Tea Time. It brings together two recognisable aromatic styles without losing the identity of either parent.
Its striking appearance and interesting genetic background also make it stand apart from some of the breeder’s more gas-focused releases.
For collectors interested in premium American cannabis genetics, Gelato-related hybrids and the latest Wizard Trees varieties, Top G is certainly worth considering.
