Atlas F1 by Royal Queen Seeds

Atlas F1 by Royal Queen Seeds occupies an interesting middle ground in the breeder’s F1 collection.

It’s neither a conventional high-THC variety nor a CBD-dominant strain.

Instead, Royal Queen Seeds developed Atlas around a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD, giving the two major cannabinoids equal billing.

Behind Atlas F1 are highly inbred lines originating from:

One To One × Diesel Auto × Amnesia Haze

The result is an F1 Hybrid CBD Auto with high CBD, a compact 65–80cm breeder specification, an XXL production classification and a complete cycle of approximately 65–70 days.

At SeedMasters.com, it’s that balanced cannabinoid profile that makes Atlas stand apart.

One To One, Diesel Auto and Amnesia Haze

There’s some interesting logic behind the Atlas F1 family tree.

One To One provides the foundation for the balanced cannabinoid profile.

Diesel Auto brings automatic genetics into the background.

Then there’s Amnesia Haze, adding one of the best-known Haze families to the mix.

But Atlas isn’t simply a conventional three-way hybrid.

Royal Queen Seeds developed highly pure inbred lines from these genetic families before producing the final F1 generation.

That’s an important distinction.

RQS’s true F1 programme is based around developing highly uniform parent lines before crossing them, with the resulting first generation intended to display strong hybrid vigour, or heterosis, alongside greater uniformity.

Atlas F1 applies that same breeding approach to a balanced THC/CBD profile.

A Genuine 1:1 F1

This is the specification we’d put front and centre:

THC : CBD – 1:1

Royal Queen Seeds doesn’t currently provide an exact numerical percentage for either cannabinoid.

Instead, CBD is classified as high, with THC occurring at an equal concentration.

We’d leave it exactly like that.

Attaching an unofficial percentage would make the product page look more precise while actually making it less accurate.

The 1:1 profile also makes Atlas quite different from the other RQS F1 varieties we’ve been adding to SeedMasters.com.

Titan sits towards the ultra-high-THC end of the collection.

Cosmos F1 goes the other way, with very high CBD and only 0.5% THC.

Atlas sits between them.

That’s a useful way of understanding where it belongs in the RQS F1 family.

Candy, Herbs and Lime

Royal Queen Seeds lists the official flavour profile as:

Candy · Herbal · Lime

There’s plenty of contrast packed into those three words.

Candy provides the sweeter side, while lime adds a sharper citrus quality.

Then the herbal character underneath stops Atlas becoming another straightforward sweet strain.

RQS currently lists caryophyllene, myrcene and terpinolene as the major terpenes in its formal data sheet.

The breeder’s own documented Atlas example also describes the Amnesia Haze influence becoming particularly noticeable through its sharper citrus aroma.

At SeedMasters.com, we’d sum it up as sweet candy over fresh herbs, finished with a sharp squeeze of lime.

It’s a simple profile, but one that gives Atlas an identity beyond its cannabinoid ratio.

Balanced by Design

Royal Queen Seeds describes the character of Atlas F1 as:

Balanced · Calming · Physically Relaxing · Sleepy

The breeder also describes the 1:1 cannabinoid profile as producing a more level-headed character than its THC-heavy F1 varieties.

That distinction makes sense within the wider collection.

Atlas wasn’t bred to compete with Titan F1 for the highest THC classification.

Its whole identity is built around balance.

For SeedMasters.com, we’d keep the wording factual rather than turning the CBD content into health or therapeutic claims.

There’s no need.

A true F1 Hybrid Auto with a breeder-specified 1:1 THC/CBD ratio is interesting enough from a genetics perspective without making claims that go beyond the breeder data.

Compact Genetics, XXL Classification

Atlas is fairly compact.

Royal Queen Seeds’ current data sheet gives a height of:

65–80cm

Flowering takes approximately:

35–40 days

The complete cycle is listed at:

65–70 days

Despite those relatively small dimensions, RQS gives Atlas an:

XXL production classification

That combination of compact dimensions and substantial production is another recurring theme across the breeder’s F1 collection.

Royal Queen Seeds also highlights strong vigour and consistency as defining characteristics of Atlas, alongside substantial resin production.

The flowers become dense and sticky, developing a conspicuous trichome layer.

For SeedMasters.com customers, these specifications are included purely as breeder-supplied reference information for identifying and comparing collectible cannabis genetics.

The Genetics Behind the Balance

One detail we particularly like is how clearly the three genetic families relate to the finished variety.

One To One is there for the cannabinoid balance.

Diesel Auto contributes the automatic heritage.

Amnesia Haze brings its own recognisable aromatic and genetic influence.

That gives Atlas a breeding story that’s easy to understand without oversimplifying what RQS actually did.

And because these genetic families were used to develop highly pure inbred lines before the final F1 cross, Atlas isn’t simply another One To One hybrid.

It’s part of the broader Royal Queen Seeds experiment with true first-generation cannabis hybrids.

Our Take on Atlas F1

At SeedMasters.com, Atlas F1 fills a gap in the Royal Queen Seeds F1 collection that none of the others we’ve covered quite manage.

Titan F1 is about THC.

Cosmos F1 is about CBD.

Atlas F1 is about balance.

That breeder-specified 1:1 THC-to-CBD ratio is the defining feature, and we wouldn’t muddy the waters by trying to attach unofficial percentages to it.

The genetics make sense too.

One To One, Diesel Auto and Amnesia Haze aren’t three random names thrown together for marketing purposes. Each represents a recognisable part of what Atlas eventually became.

We also like the flavour more than we expected.

Candy, herbs and lime sounds simple, but it’s different enough from the berry, vanilla and dessert profiles filling so much of the modern market.

And then there’s the F1 breeding itself.

Highly inbred parent lines.

A first-generation hybrid.

Compact 65–80cm breeder dimensions.

XXL production classification.

And equal concentrations of THC and CBD.

For collectors browsing the F1 range at SeedMasters.com, Atlas isn’t simply the less potent alternative to Titan or the stronger alternative to Cosmos.

It’s the balanced member of the family.

That’s a much better reason for it to exist.
