Purple Slap Auto Cannabis Seeds by Dr Krippling
Purple Slap Auto cannabis seeds by Dr Krippling take the familiar appeal of Purple Punch-style genetics and put it into a feminised autoflowering variety with a big fruit flavour and a decidedly relaxing personality.
The genetics bring together Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple, which tells you quite a lot about what to expect before you even get to the flavour description. There is the deeper OG character from the Larry side, followed by the grape, berry and unmistakably purple influence of Granddaddy Purple.
What caught our attention at SeedMasters.com is how Dr Krippling describes the flavour. Rather than simply calling it fruity, Purple Slap Auto moves through grape sweets, blueberry muffin and a sharper cherry tang.
That is a pretty distinctive combination.
It is sweet and indulgent, but the OG background gives the strain enough weight to stop it feeling like another generic candy-flavoured auto.
Larry OG x Granddaddy Purple
Purple Slap Auto is built around two names that have had a huge influence on modern purple genetics.
Larry OG provides the heavier side of the pairing. It brings the OG background and a deeper character beneath all the fruit, giving Purple Slap Auto a bit more substance than the name might initially suggest.
Granddaddy Purple takes things in the opposite direction, contributing the dark berry, grape and dessert-style qualities associated with classic purple strains.
Put the two together and you can see where the Purple Punch influence comes from.
For us, that is important because the flavour isn’t being created out of nowhere. The sweet grape and berry character makes sense when you look at the genetics behind it, while Larry OG keeps a stronger foundation underneath.
Dr Krippling has then worked that profile into an autoflowering format.
What Does Purple Slap Auto Taste Like?
The breeder’s flavour description is probably the most memorable thing about Purple Slap Auto.
Grape candy comes through first. It has that unmistakable dark-fruit sweetness people often associate with purple genetics, but there is more happening underneath.
The blueberry muffin note adds a warmer side to the profile. It takes the flavour away from simple sweets and towards something softer and more bakery-like.
Then comes the cherry.
That sharper cherry tang is a useful contrast because grape and blueberry can both become very rich. The extra acidity cuts through the sweetness and gives the finish more life.
The overall profile sits somewhere around:
Sweet grape candy
Ripe blueberry
Blueberry muffin
Dark berry fruit
Sharp cherry
A deeper OG background
There are plenty of fruity autoflowering varieties in the SeedMasters.com collection, but we think the grape-muffin-cherry combination gives Purple Slap Auto a fairly easy flavour to remember.
It isn’t trying to squeeze every fashionable terpene into one strain.
It knows what it is: sweet, fruity and very purple.
A Heavier Autoflowering Character
The effects follow the genetics fairly closely.
Dr Krippling describes Purple Slap Auto as producing a powerful relaxing experience that begins with a noticeable cerebral hit before gradually becoming more physical.
That means it isn’t presented as immediately sleepy from the first moment. There is a stronger mental sensation at the beginning, followed by a smoother and more settled body feel as things develop.
The overall character is described as:
Strong and noticeable
Mentally intense at first
Deeply relaxing
Physically soothing
Heavier as it develops
The name “Purple Slap” makes considerably more sense when you look at it that way.
This isn’t intended to be a delicate or background-style variety. The appeal is very much the combination of bold fruit flavour and a heavier relaxing finish.
Why Purple Slap Auto Stands Out
We have quite a few purple varieties at SeedMasters, so colour or a purple-inspired name on its own isn’t enough to make a strain particularly interesting.
Purple Slap Auto has a better argument than that.
The Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple pairing gives it recognisable genetics, while the flavour is specific enough to distinguish it from the many strains that are simply described as “sweet and fruity.”
Grape sweets are one thing.
Grape sweets followed by blueberry muffin and sharp cherry is much easier to remember.
The autoflowering format also gives collectors another way to explore this style of genetics without simply choosing another conventional photoperiod Purple Punch-type variety.
That’s really where we think Purple Slap Auto fits in.
It takes a familiar flavour family and presents it in a slightly different format, while retaining the rich fruit character that makes purple genetics so popular in the first place.

Our Take on Purple Slap Auto
At SeedMasters.com, Purple Slap Auto is one of those strains where the flavour description does most of the selling for us.
We’ve seen more grape strains than we could possibly count, and blueberry isn’t exactly unusual either.
It’s the way the flavours are put together that makes this one interesting.
The grape candy gives it that classic purple-strain sweetness, but the blueberry muffin adds something warmer and richer. Then the cherry comes through with enough sharpness to stop the whole thing becoming overly sugary.
We also like the Larry OG influence.
Without it, Purple Slap Auto could easily sound like another soft fruit-and-dessert variety. The OG side gives the genetics a stronger backbone and helps explain the heavier character Dr Krippling associates with the strain.
For collectors who already know and enjoy Purple Punch-style genetics, Purple Slap Auto should feel familiar without being an exact repeat of the same formula.
And for anyone browsing the SeedMasters.com autoflowering cannabis seeds range specifically for darker fruit flavours, this is one of the easier varieties to pick out from the crowd.
For us, the appeal is straightforward: recognisable genetics, a properly defined flavour and a name that actually matches the personality of the strain.
