Mangosteen Glitch Auto by Anesia Seeds
Mangosteen Glitch Auto cannabis seeds by Anesia Seeds are a 2026 autoflowering release built around one of the more unusual tropical flavour combinations we’ve seen from the breeder recently.
The genetics are Strawberry Glitch × Glowberry Rush Auto, producing a feminized autoflower that Anesia lists as approximately 65% Indica and 35% Sativa. Its headline flavour combines ripe strawberry with mangosteen, tropical fruit, berry-candy sweetness and brighter citrus notes.
At SeedMasters.com, the mangosteen part is what immediately got our attention.
Strawberry strains are everywhere. Mango is hardly unusual anymore either. Mangosteen, on the other hand, is not a flavour description we regularly come across in cannabis genetics, and it gives this variety a more exotic identity than another straightforward berry auto.
There’s plenty going on beyond the name too. Anesia reports a complete cycle of approximately 9–10 weeks, substantial resin production, dense colourful flowers and THC levels reaching up to 30%. As always with a figure that high, we’d treat it as the breeder’s upper reported result rather than something every individual seed should automatically be expected to reproduce.
Strawberry Glitch Meets Glowberry Rush Auto
Anesia gives the lineage simply as:
Strawberry Glitch × Glowberry Rush Auto
We haven’t found enough reliable information from Anesia itself to confidently take the Strawberry Glitch side any further than that, so we’re not going to fill the gap with an unrelated strain carrying the same name.
Glowberry Rush Auto is much easier to trace.
Anesia describes that parent as an 80% Indica autoflower centred around blueberry and cherry flavours, with a rapid cycle and particularly dense, resinous flowers. The breeder lists Glowberry Rush Auto at up to 29% THC and describes a much heavier, dreamier character than Mangosteen Glitch Auto eventually displays.
That makes the finished cross quite interesting.
The berry influence remains obvious, but Mangosteen Glitch Auto moves towards a brighter and considerably more tropical direction. It also retains a much livelier cerebral character despite still leaning 65% Indica overall.
In other words, it doesn’t sound like Anesia simply crossed in an autoflower parent and left everything else unchanged. The finished selection appears to have developed a personality of its own.
Mangosteen, Strawberry and Tropical Candy
Flavour is probably the strongest reason to look more closely at Mangosteen Glitch Auto.
Anesia’s specification lists strawberry, mangosteen, berry candy and tropical sweetness, while the fuller breeder description adds mango and bright citrus into the mix.
We’d expect the main aromatic character to sit around:
Ripe strawberry
Exotic mangosteen
Mango and tropical fruit
Sweet mixed berries
Berry-candy notes
Fresh citrus
A soft, lingering sweetness
It’s clearly on the sweeter side, but we think the tropical element is what stops this becoming just another candy strain.
Strawberry provides the familiar opening, while mangosteen gives the profile something much less predictable. Mango broadens that tropical side further, and the citrus should introduce a little brightness amongst all the ripe fruit and sweetness.
The berry character also makes sense when you consider the Glowberry Rush Auto parent, which Anesia describes around blueberry and sweet-tart cherry.
What you end up with is less of a single-fruit strain and more of a tropical fruit mixture built around strawberry and darker berries.
For us, that’s considerably more interesting than simply attaching an exotic name to an otherwise ordinary sweet terpene profile.
Strong, Euphoric and Surprisingly Clear
Mangosteen Glitch Auto is Indica dominant, but Anesia doesn’t describe the experience as immediately heavy.
The breeder says the initial character is euphoric, uplifting and mentally engaging, with clearer thoughts, heightened perception and a noticeable creative side. Physical relaxation develops alongside that mental energy without immediately turning the experience sluggish or deeply sedating.
That gives it quite a different personality from Glowberry Rush Auto.
Where the Glowberry parent is described as much more narcotic and heavily relaxing, Mangosteen Glitch Auto seems to pull some of that physical calm into a brighter hybrid experience.
The reported progression is roughly:
Fast cerebral lift
Euphoria
Increased mental focus
Creative and curious thinking
Heightened sensory awareness
Relaxed but comparatively grounded physical character
Anesia reports THC reaching up to 30%. Again, we’d emphasise the “up to” rather than treating 30% as a guaranteed THC content for every expression.
We think that’s particularly important with modern autoflowers. Huge THC numbers make excellent headlines, but the combination of flavour, structure and overall character tells you considerably more about whether the genetics are actually interesting.
Dark Green, Red and Purple Under the Frost
Mangosteen Glitch Auto also has more visual character than we initially expected.
Anesia describes dense, compact flowers with strong resin coverage, predominantly deep green but with red accents and purple undertones appearing through the buds.
Against the thick trichome layer, those darker colours should give the flowers plenty of contrast.
Its main visual characteristics include:
Dense, compact flower formation
Deep green colouring
Red highlights
Purple undertones
Heavy resin coverage
Thick crystalline trichomes
There is nothing particularly gimmicky about the presentation. It isn’t being sold entirely around unusual colours or exaggerated flower shapes.
Instead, the combination of darker pigmentation and frost seems to do most of the work.
The resin production is also consistent with what we already know about Glowberry Rush Auto, which Anesia similarly describes as developing dense flowers with particularly heavy trichome coverage.
A 9–10 Week Modern Autoflower
Anesia Seeds lists the full cycle for Mangosteen Glitch Auto at approximately 9–10 weeks from seed.
The breeder reports heights of approximately 80–120cm indoors and 100–150cm outdoors, putting it towards a manageable but not necessarily miniature size for an autoflower.
Production is listed at approximately 500–550g/m² indoors and 130–200g per plant outdoors. These are breeder-supplied figures and naturally shouldn’t be interpreted as guaranteed results.
What’s more useful from a product-description point of view is the combination of a relatively compact stature with substantial, tightly formed flowers.
Mangosteen Glitch Auto doesn’t appear to have been designed simply around achieving the smallest possible plant. Anesia has instead focused on retaining strong flower development and resin production while keeping the complete automatic cycle within that 9–10 week window.

Our Take on Mangosteen Glitch Auto
At SeedMasters.com, we think Mangosteen Glitch Auto has two things going for it that matter more than the headline THC figure.
The first is the flavour.
We already see endless strawberry, blueberry, banana and candy genetics, so another sweet autoflower needs something genuinely different if it’s going to catch our attention.
Mangosteen does that.
Combined with strawberry, mango, berries and citrus, it gives this strain a proper tropical-fruit identity rather than simply another generic “sweet and fruity” description. The Glowberry Rush Auto parent also adds some useful depth, particularly through the darker berry side of the profile.
The second thing we like is the effect Anesia describes.
Looking at 65% Indica genetics and a Glowberry Rush Auto parent, we might have expected something much heavier. Instead, Mangosteen Glitch Auto is described as distinctly euphoric, clear and mentally stimulating before the physical relaxation starts becoming more noticeable.
That gives the strain more contrast than we’d expected.
The appearance sounds good too. Deep green flowers, flashes of red and purple and substantial resin coverage give Mangosteen Glitch Auto enough visual character without the breeder needing to make colour the entire point of the strain.
As for the up-to-30% THC figure, it’s impressive on paper, but we wouldn’t make that the sole reason to choose it. It’s an upper breeder claim, and there are much more distinctive things here than a laboratory number.
For collectors browsing the SeedMasters.com Anesia Seeds range, we’d look at Mangosteen Glitch Auto primarily for that unusual tropical profile and the way it combines an energetic cerebral personality with Indica-dominant autoflower genetics.
Strawberry provides the familiarity. Glowberry adds darker fruit and resin. Mangosteen is the detail that gives the finished variety its own identity.
And in a catalogue increasingly crowded with similarly named fruit and candy hybrids, having an identity of its own counts for quite a lot.
