Snow Bud – The Ultimate Sativa Hybrid for Tough Climates
Snow Bud is a robust, Sativa-dominant hybrid developed specifically for challenging growing environments. With its origins in the Swiss Alps, this hardy strain thrives in mountainous areas, cold climates, and humid conditions, making it the perfect choice for both beginner and experienced growers looking to cultivate in tough conditions.
🌱 Genetics & Growth
Snow Bud is a hybrid created by crossing an Afghan Indica with a South African Sativa, resulting in a 60-75% Sativa dominant strain. Known for its strong structure, this plant grows to an average height of 2 meters, but with some extra care, it can reach up to 3 meters outdoors. It’s well-suited for outdoor cultivation, especially in high-altitude areas. Snow Bud’s 8-week flowering time makes it a quick bloomer compared to other Sativas, ideal for areas with short growing seasons.
🌸 Aroma & Flavor
Snow Bud offers a unique, spicy, earthy, and skunky aroma with piney and sweet notes. The taste leans toward the spicy side but may also surprise with occasional bitter and sweet undertones. Experienced smokers will notice hints of cinnamon and honey, adding complexity to its flavor profile. The smooth smoke is not harsh on the throat, making it easy to enjoy.
🌾 Ideal Growing Conditions
Snow Bud excels in mountainous environments and cold, humid climates, providing a generous yield even under challenging conditions. Her ability to resist mold, mildew, and bud rot ensures a successful harvest in regions with fluctuating weather. This plant is ideal for guerrilla growing and can even adapt to greenhouses or indoor setups under LED lighting.
