Gelato 41 by Flavour Chasers: Sunset Sherbet Meets Thin Mint Cookies
Gelato 41 Flavour Chasers genetics bring together two famous Californian varieties: Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. This slightly Indica-dominant hybrid belongs to the popular Gelato family, which has become one of the most recognisable names in modern American cannabis genetics.
Also known as Bacio Gelato, Gelato 41 is a particular selection from the original Gelato genetic line. It has developed a reputation for its distinctive dessert-inspired aromas and colourful appearance.
Flavour Chasers offers its own feminised seed version of this well-known variety, making it an interesting addition to the breeder’s collection of American genetics.
For collectors interested in the Cookies family and premium Californian varieties, Gelato 41 offers an appealing combination of familiar heritage and distinctive characteristics.
Flavour and Aroma: Sweet Sherbet, Blueberry and Orange
One of the standout features of Gelato 41 is its rich, dessert-inspired aromatic profile.
Flavour Chasers describes sweet sherbet, fruity blueberry and orange notes, creating a combination that reflects the influence of its famous parent varieties.
Sunset Sherbet contributes a creamy, fruity sweetness, while Thin Mint Cookies introduces a deeper character associated with the Girl Scout Cookies family.
Alongside the sweeter aromas, Gelato 41 also features subtle woody undertones, adding another dimension to its profile.
The combination of fruit, sweetness and earthier notes gives this variety a recognisable identity without relying entirely on the strong gas aromas found in some newer American hybrids.
This makes Gelato 41 particularly interesting for collectors who enjoy comparing dessert-inspired cannabis genetics.
What Makes These Genetics Special?
One of the main attractions of Gelato 41 is its connection to two influential Californian genetic families.
Sunset Sherbet descends from Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties, while Thin Mint Cookies is a recognised selection from the Girl Scout Cookies line.
Together, these parents form the foundation of the wider Gelato family, which includes several famous selections.
Gelato 41 is also known for its distinctive appearance. Flavour Chasers describes deep green colouring, purple shades and bright orange hairs, accompanied by a heavily frosted finish.
The breeder classifies the variety as approximately 55% Indica and 45% Sativa, making it a relatively balanced hybrid with a slight Indica influence.
Gelato 41 is available as feminised photoperiod cannabis seeds, with an approximate flowering period of 8–9 weeks listed in the breeder’s specifications.
Its established lineage and recognisable characteristics make it an interesting addition to a collection of American cannabis genetics.
